Chemung Moves To Sunday Racing

Chemung
Speedrome has moved their racing programs to
Sunday afternoons for 2012. The 2:15 p.m.
starting time has generated positive
comments from fans and racers alike. This
will add a third race day for the Southern
Tier racing fans. This sets up a tri-track
circuit for the NASCAR Sunoco Modifieds with
Spencer Speedway (Friday), Holland Speedway
(Saturday) and Chemung on Sundays at 2:15.
The test and tune session for all divisions
will be held Sunday, May 27th at 1:00 p.m.
Spectators are admitted free of charge for
the only practice session before opening
night.

Chemung Speedrome And Spencer Speedway At
Motorsports Expo 2012

Motorsports Expo 2012 proved to be good
exposure for NASCAR’s upstate home tracks.
Fans and competitors alike circulated the
large arena in Syracuse to get a preview of
new racing season. Among the shine of the
race cars, Spencer Speedway, Holland
Speedway and Chemung Speedrome joined dozens
of tracks greeting the fans. Schedule cards
and other information were shared with the
attendees. Chemung Speedrome has moved their
racing events to Sunday afternoons at 2:15.
